Who is Ryan Whitney?

Born on February 19, 1983, Ryan Whitney is a former professional ice hockey defenceman from the United States. He co-hosts the hockey podcast Spittin’ Chiclets on Barstool Sports with former NHL enforcer Paul Bissonnette and serves as an analyst for the NHL Network. 

Whitney won a silver medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics while competing for the United States internationally. After finishing his first year at Boston University, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins with the fifth overall pick in the 2002 NHL Entry. Whitney played his NHL debut season in 2005–06 after spending three seasons with the Wilkes–Barre/Scranton Penguins, the Penguins’ minor league club. 

Having spent three and a half more seasons in Pittsburgh, Whitney assisted the team in reaching the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals. He spent a brief time with the Anaheim Ducks before being dealt to the Edmonton Oilers in 2010. He made his professional hockey retirement known on September 20, 2015. In 2019, New Amsterdam Vodka and Whitney worked together to produce Pink Whitney, a vodka with a pink lemonade flavor.

Ryan Whitney is a former NHL defenseman now married to Bryanah Whitney. Bryanah is a well-known American celebrity partner.  

 

The stunning actress was born in Manhattan Beach, California, on April 24, 1998. Her parents, Jody and Rick Newman, welcomed her into the world alongside her older sister, Jessica. She is of Caucasian heritage and also holds American citizenship.

 

Bryanah went to Rancho Pico High School and Pennekamp Elementary School for her education. Later, she enrolled at UCLA in 2019, where she earned a psychology bachelor’s degree and a summa cum laude. She began her career in the entertainment sector at the tender age of three, modeling for print ads and commercials.

 

Having made her acting debut at the age of 6 in the movie Monster House with Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, and Nick Cannon, she began her career. Later, she was featured in the American sitcom Hannah Montana in 2007 as a young Miley Stewart. In Zeke and Luther, she was cast as Ginger Falcone, the main character.

 

After that, Ryanah played the lead character Emily Hobbs on See Dad Run, Allison on The Thundermans, and Claudia Shepard in 2018’s The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time, among other roles. Additionally, her films include the names of 2022 Reagan, 2015 AthenaGirls, 2012 The Call, and 2008 Lower Learning.
