Recently, there has been a lot of speculation about Madison Keys’ boyfriend—here’s everything you need to know about Bjorn Fratangelo!

Who is Madison Keys?

Madison Keys is an American tennis player who was born on February 17, 1995 and is presently ranked No. 20 in the world tennis rankings. With five WTA victories under her belt, including four at the elite levels, the 27-year-old achieved her career-high ranking of No. 7 in 2016.

Madison had already won the 12-and-under Junior Orange Bowl by the time she was nine years old. In 2016, she created history by being the first American woman to rank among the top 10 WTA players since Serena Williams, who had done it seventeen years prior.

Acknowledged for her lightning-fast serve and one of the strongest forehands in the game, Keys has led her generation of American tennis players with her aggressive style of play, along with Sloane Stephens, CoCo Vandeweghe, and Sofia Kenin.

2016 saw her make her WTA ranking debut in the top 10, making history as the first American woman to do so since Serena Williams 17 years prior. Keys and Stephens made history by being the first American women to compete in a major singles final since 2005, when they squared off in the 2017 US Open final, aside from the Williams sisters.

Keys has achieved success on every surface, having advanced to the quarterfinals of all four majors and taking home at least one title in each.

Who is Madison Keys’s boyfriend?

Madison’s fiancé is Bjorn Frantangelo—when it comes to love, Madison Keys and her fiancé Bjorn Fratangelo are winning big.

After dating for six years, Keys accepted fellow American tennis star Fratangelo’s proposal in March 2023, which caused quite a stir for the sports couple. Despite being the best in the tennis world, the two have largely kept their relationship private.

Both are still willing to listen to one another’s advice, though. When a reporter asked Keys how she felt about getting messages from her fiancé while he cheered her on from the sidelines following her Wimbledon victory over Mirra Andreevna in July 2023, she was happy to say that she liked it.

She remarked, “Obviously, the majority of the information I take in is good information.” “And personally, I enjoy it; it’s been effective so far to have very specific things to focus on before every single point.”

The couple rarely shares a glimpse of their connection on social media, despite keeping the specifics of their courtship out of the public eye. Fratangelo shared a photo of himself and his family on social media in December 2022, expressing his gratitude to be with them after a trying year. Additionally, Fratangelo offered Keys a special shout-out in the caption, even though she wasn’t there. He wrote, “Just missing @madisonkeys.”

All about Bjorn Fratangelo

Pennsylvanian native Fratangelo is from Pittsburgh and still lives in Pittsburgh, even though he moved to Naples, Florida, with his family while he was a high school student to play against a bigger pool.

As a 17-year-old in 2011, Fratangelo won the French Open boys’ title, catapulting him to the second spot in the ranking; then, in 2012, he went pro.

Following a challenging period in his career due to a leg injury sustained in 2018, Fratangelo managed to regain his place in the winner’s circle in October 2018. In California, he captured his third ATP Challenger Tour championship and his first in over two years.
