Alyssa Healy is a professional Australian cricketer who was born on the 24th of March 1990. Her full name is Alyssa Jean Healy. She is currently a part of the Australian women’s national squad and plays for New South Wales in domestic cricket, and also for the Sydney Sixers in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). The Australian wicketkeeper marked her first international appearance in February 2010.

Alyssa’s father is Greg Healy who also played cricket for the Queensland team, while her uncle Ian Healy is a legendary Australia Test wicketkeeper known for his record of having the highest Test dismissals. Her other uncle Ken Healy who is the brother of Greg and Ian Healy was also a part of Queensland team. Alyssa started getting famous in late 2006 when she became the only female to participate among lads in the private schools cricket tournament in New South Wales. She managed to qualify for the state age group ranks and debuted for the senior New South Wales squad in the 2007 to 2008 season. Alyssa played most of her initial two seasons as an expert batter due to Leonie Coleman who was a wicketkeeper for Australia (state side). With Coleman’s departure at the beginning of the 2009 to 2010 season, Alyssa took on the role of the wicketkeeper on a full-time ground for her state. The exact season, she made a record for the most number of scores 89 not out at quicker than a chase a ball and seized the most dismissals achieved by a wicketkeeper in the Women’s National Cricket League.

Alyssa Healy Husband
The Australian wicketkeeper got engaged to her long time boyfriend and pace bowler Mitchell Starc in 2015 and the following year, the couple got married in an intimate ceremony in April 2016. The couple have known each other since they were 9. The pair first encountered each other as Starc initially began as a wicketkeeper. As of now, the pair do not have any children although they have been married for almost six years.
