The WWE star is dating the Mexican professional wrestler Gino Medina, who has competed in Reality of Wrestling and Major League Wrestling. He is the prodigious wrestler El Sanguinario’s son, who began competing with MLW in 2019 — and primarily competes in Texas.
Roxanne’s beloved Gino wrestled in a similar professional progression; he is the second-generation luchador, descended from a long line of Lucha libre wrestlers. Who is Roxanne Perez?
Born on November 5, 2001, Carla Gonzalez is an American professional wrestler, who goes under the ring name Roxanne Perez. She has a contract with WWE, where she competes on the NXT roster as Roxanne Perez.
Perez was once the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion and the NXT Women’s Champion. Gonzalez competed in professional wrestling for Ring of Honour (ROH), where she held the first ROH Women’s World Championship, under the ring name Rok-C.
Roxanne started working out at the age of 13, and from the age of 16 on, he worked out with Booker T. In December 2018, she began competing for Booker T’s promotion Reality of Wrestling, making her pro wrestling debut as Rok-C.
The entirety of Rok-C’s first-year professional wrestling career was spent competing for promoters in her native Texas, most notably for ROW, where she won the women’s title, the ROW Diamonds Division Championship.
Rok-C made her Ring of Honour debut in April 2021 when she teamed up with Max the Impaler to compete against Laynie Luck and Hyan in a time-limited draw. Later, Rok-C competed in the ROH Women’s World Championship tournament, winning matches against Angelina Love, Quinn McKay, and Sumie Sakai. She defeated Miranda Alize in the Death Before Dishonour XVIII finals to win the event and become the first ROH Women’s World Champion at the age of 19.
