By Born on November 9, 1999, Prithvi Pankaj Shaw is an Indian international cricketer. He was a part of the Indian cricket national squad in all forms. As of now, the young cricketer plays domestically for Mumbai and Delhi Capitals in the IPL (Indian Premier League). At the age of 18, Shaw marked his debut for India and grabbed the record for becoming the youngest player debutant when he achieved a test century. Shaw was bought by the IPL team Delhi Capitals ahead of the Tata IPL Auction 2022. In 2018, he led the Indian squad as a captain and won the U-19 World Cup.
Hailing from Thane, Maharashtra, Shaw was raised by his parents of migrant workers who are originally from Gaya, Bihar moved to Thane and later to Mumbai after AAP Ent. offered a contract to Shaw, letting the young cricketer finish his cricket schooling. He was backed financially by Indian Oil.
The right-handed batter has earned himself quite a reputation for being one of the most talented players and even replacing the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar for being the youngest cricketer to accomplish a century in a test match.
