Virtue continued by saying she had met her partner, who was born in Vancouver, through mutual friends. Later in the podcast broadcast, she revealed that she wasn’t always honest about her relationships.
“I was very guarded for a long time, and I wouldn’t give out my phone number, I wouldn’t open up — I was very insular,” she said. However, I believe that has changed. I feel so much more at ease today. Perhaps that’s just me learning to accept who I am and what I want. It certainly helps that I can discern people’s character well.”
On New Year’s Day, Virtue posted a monochrome image of herself strolling next to Rielly on Instagram. The duo was seen grinning at one other as they strolled around with their arms wrapped around each other’s backs.

Tessa Jane McCormick Virtue CM, the girlfriend of Morgan Reily, is a former Canadian ice dancer who partners with Scott Moir. She is the second-placed female athlete in winter sports and the highest placed female athlete from Canada. Jim and Kate Virtue of London, Ontario, Canada, are the parents of Tessa Virtue. Out of her four siblings, she is the youngest.
Virtue went to AMDEC, an online learning institution with its headquarters located in Stratford, Ontario, in addition to Holy Names High School in Windsor.
