In 2023, she surpassed Swedish skier Ingemar Stenmark’s record of 86 World Cup victories and is a five-time World Cup overall champion (2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023).

Mikaela is one of the best-known names in the skiing sphere, with accomplishments that speak louder than words. She is the youngest slalom champion and the only skier to win 6 FIS Alpine Ski World Cup disciplines. In addition, Shiffrin has won three career Olympic medals (two gold and one silver).

They opened up about their relationship in an interview with the Olympics website. Kilde said: “We are having good conversations and we are there for each other. We support each other on good days and bad days like couples do, like partners do for each other. We’re not any different.”

So, we are quite open about it because we don’t get too many questions about how things are running and how things are, because you see it right away and we can control it 100 per cent ourselves.”

Kilde, 29, is a former football player and Norwegian World Cup alpine ski racer, who competes in both downhill and super-G (super giant slalom). He competed at the Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games and finished 13th in super-G.
Kilde is also a 2013 Junior World giant slalom champion, and six top-10 in three other World Championships. The skier Kilde can bench press a whopping 300 pounds, earning him nicknames like “Ironman” and the “Arnold Schwarzenegger of skiing.”
