Katherine Brunt is married to all-rounder Natalie Sciver; the couple tied the knot on May 29, 2020, after being in a long-term relationship for five years. Sciver and Brunt got engaged in October 2019 and had planned to marry immediately – but with the COVID-19 pandemic, things got delayed. Born on August 20, 1992, Natalie Ruth Sciver-Brunt is a Japanese-born English cricketer, who was (literally) the first to take a hat-trick in a Women’s Twenty20 International match. The “Nutmeg” shot, which we know as of today, is named after Sciver, from when she hit a cricket ball through her legs during a game.
Natalie’s talented wife, Sciver, captained the England team for the first time in international cricket, for the third WT20I match against New Zealand on March 7, 2021 – after Heather Knight was ruled out of the fixture due to an injury. On September 6, 2022, she was titled as England’s captain for their home WT20I series against India in the absence of Heather Knight.
