He was also a part of college golf at Louisiana State University. Burns won the Valspar Championship and the Sanderson Farms Championship in 2021. Who is Carolina Burns?
Carolina Burns is formerly known as Carolina Campbell and she is the wife of Sam Burns. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana on the 26th of April 1996. Carolina will be turning 27 years this April. She is the daughter of Chris Campell and Catherine (Cordell) Campell. Carolina also has two brothers who are Collier Campbell and Green Campbell. Her grandad named Bo Campbell was also a college football player.
Carolina along with her two brothers went to the same school which is C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport. The passion for sports runs deep in their family as she was also a track and field athlete back in her high school days. Her two brothers also excelled in sports. The older brother played baseball while the younger brother played football. Carolina won the state championship in the 300-meter hurdles and set a record run time of 46.34.
She went on to attend Louisiana State University, where she would later fall in love with the golfer and the rest is history.
How did Sam Burns Meet Caroline Campbell?
Sam and Carolina’s first encounter was at the church when both of them were five years old.
However, for their high schooling, they both attended different schools. After about a decade, the pair met again at Louisiana State University. The two did not start dating immediately but they would date later on and Sam was contented to become a pro golfer.
The pair then got engaged in April 2019 after being in a relationship for five years. The golfer popped the three magical words ahead of the 2019 RBC Heritage after asking Carolina’s father for approval.
“These have been some of the best days of my life so far, any time that you ask a person to spend the rest of their life with you, it’s a pretty big deal,” Burns stated. “I hope that we’ll have many years together and grow old together and get to enjoy a lot of fun things together.”
Nevertheless, the couple does not share much information about their life as they are both very private people but it has been proven many times that Carolina has always been supportive of her husband and can be often spotted at his games.
When Did Sam Burns and Carolina Campbell Get Hitch?
The couple exchanged their vows on December 14, 2019, and was held at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina. As of now, the married couple resides in Choudrant, Louisiana. They do not have any children together as Sam is focusing on his career but they will when the time comes.
