By The Swedish international has signed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur that will last until 2028 after joining the Club from the Serie A team in January 2022 on an initial 18-month loan.
Dejan, a dynamic and adaptable attacker, made a tremendous impression on the Club in February 2022, scoring and recording an assist in a historic 3-2 victory over Manchester City. He maintained his strong play during the second half of the 2021–2022 campaign, contributing significantly to the Club’s qualifying for the UEFA Champions League the previous season.
The 23-year-old made a total of 57 appearances and scored seven goals in all competitions during the 2017–2018 season. He made less than 20 games in his first season and finished the year in the top 10 for assists, becoming the first player in Premier League history to do so.
He has played 29 times for his nation at the international level, scoring twice, and in December 2022, he was honoured with the 2022 Guldbollen, Sweden’s top male player award, in appreciation of an outstanding debut season in the Premier League.
