By The Pittsburgh Steelers have made several big offseason trades, including Allen Robinson, a wide receiver. Robinson thinks the squad has put together a strong set of offensive weapons as they get ready for the 2023 season.
The Steelers had trouble scoring during the 2022 season, placing 26th overall. Although they lost seven of their final nine games, they did improve towards the close of the season, in large part due to the development of rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett. Robinson recently gave an interview to SiriusXM NFL Radio, where he praised Pickett and showed confidence in the team’s offensive balance of youthful talent and seasoned veterans.
To have a balanced offensive unit, Robinson emphasised the development of young players who are no longer inexperienced. He spoke of Pickett’s improvement as he entered his second year, the growth of wide receiver George Pickens as he entered his second year, and the persistence of tight end Pat Freiermuth as he entered his third year. Robinson also emphasised the presence of explosive playmakers like himself and running back Najee Harris. He emphasised their capacity to produce explosive plays and make critical plays in circumstances like third downs and red zone possibilities.
The Steelers also acquired veteran guard Isaac Seumalo, first-round tackle Broderick Jones, and wide receiver Diontae Johnson to their offensive lineup over the summer. The Steelers intend to increase offensive production and ensure a return to the postseason with these additions and their overall quality combination.
