Christophe Galtier has left his position as PSG coach after a disappointing season. His replacement has been named as Luis Enrique, the former head coach of the Spanish national team. But there are reported problems with the coaching staff’s makeup that must be fixed before the next season starts.
The identity of the accompanying staff members has not yet been established, according to L’Equipe. The assistants who will work with Luis Enrique are still being finalised through discussions. He hopes to keep the assistants from his time working with the Spanish national team, and he may keep some additional staff members from Galtier’s period.
The official presentation of Luis Enrique and PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi is currently being prepared. Before the training sessions begin on Monday, a presentation will be held at the new training facility in Poissy. However, Galtier and his staff still have a one-year contract, so PSG must finalise the leaving arrangement with them.
In comparison to the 10 million euros paid to Mauricio Pochettino last year for his dismissal, Galtier and his staff are anticipated to get compensation of roughly 6 million euros.
PSG has already made some major acquisitions in the transfer market, including central defender Milan Skriniar, midfielder Cher Ndour, and attacker Marco Asensio. Additionally, they allegedly paid Sporting Lisbon 60 million euros for midfielder Manuel Ugarte. According to the local media, the club’s top aim is Randal Kolo Muani.
To recover from a failed season and succeed in the following one, PSG is generally making changes to the coaching staff and player roster.
