Jemimah Rodrigues is a pro Indian cricketer born on the 5th of September 2000 in Bhandup, Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her birth name is Jemimah Jessica Rodrigues and was raised in a Christian family. Jemimah is a right-handed batter and Right-arm Off-break bowler. Her father Ivan Rodrigues also played cricket at the club level.

Born and raised in a Christian family. Jemima was born on September 5, 2000, to parents Ivan and Lvita Rodrigues. Her father Ivan is her coach and has been coaching her since a tender age. She also has two brothers who are named Enoch Rodrigues and Eli Rodrigues.
Hailing from Bhandup, Mumbai she grew up along with her two brothers. At age 4, Jemimah began playing season cricket. Her family shifted to another part of the city at Bandra West when she was still very young so she could get proper training and avail of all kinds of facilities for her cricketing. When she was pursuing her schooling, her father served as a junior coach at the school where she was studying. Jemimah grew up practicing bowling with her two brothers. Her father who has been coaching her daughter since the very initial stages started a cricket squad for the girls at her daughter’s school. Jemimah was not only good at playing cricket but she was also good at hockey as well.
The cricketer proudly says that her father is her main support system as her coach and her “Hero” and owes all her success to him. Jemimah became the second woman behind Smriti Mandhana to score a dual century in a fifty-over cricket match. She managed to score 202 runs in 163 balls in Aurangabad against Saurashtra squad in November 2017.
