By Javi Galán is almost officially a member of the Atlético de Madrid football team. On his first official day as a rojiblanco, the 28-year-old winger has already arrived in the city. He headed into the capital once his vacation was over to complete the required medical testing before travelling to the Metropolitan and signing his contract with Atlético. Next, the club is expected to make an official statement.
Galán is already employed as a rojiblanco as a result of the acceleration from the previous week. Before the start of the 23-24 preseason on Friday, when he will directly meet Simeone and his new teammates, he will have a few days to take care of business after this intensive Monday, during which he will get to know the Metropolitan insider and sign his name.
The coaching staff believes that one of the left back’s needs, which was a priority going into this transfer market, has been met.
