During the trial tournament, Lakshya Sharma and Rakshitha Sree S emerged victorious in men’s singles and women’s singles, respectively. In men’s doubles, Nicholas Nathan Raj and Tushar Suveer secured the top spot, while Radhika Sharma and Tanvi Sharma dominated in women’s doubles. Samarveer and Radhika Sharma earned their place in the mixed doubles category.
The Indian team consists of athletes who performed exceptionally well during the final selection trials held at Karnal Singh Railway Station from the 4th to the 7th of June. Their participation in the Asian Junior Continental Championship serves as a platform for potential qualification to the World Junior Championship, scheduled to be held in Spokane City, Washington, United States of America from September 24 to October 8.
