By DeMarcus Lawrence, a defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys, claims that there isn’t much of a difference between his squad and the Philadelphia Eagles, the current NFC East and NFC champions. Lawrence thinks the Cowboys have a chance to narrow the deficit in the 2023 campaign.
According to Lawrence, who gave his judgement to the Associated Press, the gap between the two teams is not insurmountable. He emphasised that it’s important to pay attention to the small aspects, like the team’s tactics as well as the dynamics of the locker room. Lawrence thinks that the Cowboys have made the required modifications and gained insightful knowledge about their colleagues throughout the present period leading up to training camp, enabling them to perform well on the pitch.
The Eagles ended the previous season with a 14-3 record, while the Cowboys had a 12-5 record. Lawrence believes that despite the distance between the two teams, it is not insurmountable. He is still certain that the Cowboys will be able to close that deficit in the following 2023 campaign.
Lawrence’s remarks show that he has faith in the Cowboys’ ability to develop and that he thinks they have what it takes to soon match or even surpass the Eagles’ level of success. However, it is still unknown how the two clubs would do in the forthcoming campaign and whether the Cowboys will be able to catch up to the Philadelphia Eagles, the current NFC champions.
