The Atlanta Falcons have made several roster moves following their minicamp, announcing the signing of three players who participated on a tryout basis. Wide receiver Chris Blair, defensive lineman Albert Huggins, and kicker Matthew Trickett have all earned spots on the team’s 90-man roster.

Chris Blair, who previously had a stint with the Green Bay Packers, most recently played for the XFL’s D.C. Defenders. In the 2023 season, Blair recorded 26 receptions for 594 yards and three touchdowns.

Albert Huggins brings experience from his appearances in 14 career games for the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints. He has accumulated 19 tackles and two quarterback hits, both of which came during his time with the Saints in 2021.

Matthew Trickett, a reliable kicker, had an impressive collegiate season at Minnesota in 2022. He connected on 15-of-18 field goal attempts and made all 46 of his extra points.

In corresponding moves, the Falcons placed running back Avery Williams on injured reserve due to an ACL injury, ending his season prematurely. Additionally, the team released quarterback Austin Aune and wide receiver Justin Marshall.
