Arsenal won the Community Shield for the 17th time in their history on Sunday, beating Manchester City 5-4 on penalties after the match was drawn 1-1 after extra time.
The Gunners took the lead in the first half through Bukayo Saka, but City equalized through Erling Haaland in the second half. Neither side could find a winner in extra time, so the match went to penalties.
