By Serbian international Aleksandar Mitrovic has made headlines by declaring that he will never play for Fulham again. The Premier League striker has been a subject of interest from Saudi Pro League clubs this summer, with Al Hilal being one of the clubs keen on acquiring his services. The Saudi side has already made two bids for Mitrovic, who is considered a talisman for the Cottagers.
Al Hilal is rumoured to have made Mitrovic an astounding offer of £21.3 million per year, or £400,000 per week. The original £25.5 million and subsequent £35 million proposals, however, were both rejected by Fulham, who instead slapped a hefty £52 million price tag on their star striker.
This choice may have consequences since, according to Sky Sports, Mitrovic has reportedly informed his family he doesn’t want to play for Fulham again. Even though the 28-year-old still has three years left on his current deal with the team, he is emphatic about wanting to go.
